Meet the Photographer

Rob Urquhart is a fine art photographer whose work explores the quiet connection between humans and nature. Growing up with a learning disability, he found his voice through imagery rather than words, spending his childhood immersed in the wild — swamps, trees, and open skies. At just eight years old, he won his first photo contest, setting him on a lifelong creative path. Over the years, Rob’s photography has been exhibited in twelve countries and featured in numerous publications. His distinctive eye captures fragments of light, stillness, and texture that others often overlook. Each image invites viewers to slow down and see the world through his perspective — grounded in calm, curiosity, and reverence for the natural world. His work continues to reflect the same wonder that first drew him to the camera: a deep desire to find meaning in the quiet moments that connect us all.
